Symbolism: Dear my mother

     I chose this symbol stand for my mother, because the first, in my family we all like him and the second, my mom's name is same with a sportsman whose name is LIU XIANG of 110 meter hurdles. He has made a new Olympic game record of 110 men's meter hurdles in 2004. In my opinion, my mom is the best woman in the world . She teaches me how to become a good man for the world, how to help others. She told me that the hurdles are looks like the problems in the life, we need face to them and work the problems out or try out the idea. She loves me very mush, she always forget herself and take care of me. but she although knew that i need face to the world by myself, she can not protect me all my life. So she always encourages me to try anythings which is good for society and i can practice myself. She always face to the problems by herself, she never show her angry or sad from her working to anybody. she did not want to effect the others. but we also can know what is her problems, because we are a family, we are best person in the world, we can get together and help each other. when i watched the video of the 110 meter hurdles in 2004, it always made me remembered my mom. A brave, peaceful, friendly and love me very much the woman in the world. Thank you so much, mom.

Band of brothers

The Friendship and the Great Battle are the main themes in the Band of brothers. The story of Easy Company of the US Army 101st Airborne division and their mission in WWII Europe from Operation Overlord through V-J Day. That is a history TV play which comes out in 2001. It is my favorite TV play, because it is real story, it was told by someone who has survived in Easy Company. When the reporter interviews them, they are all felt sad about that time when they are young and fighting in Europe. It was made me remembered the Mr. Peter who was made a speech in Stelly’s about the WWII. There are 10 parts in the play, it is started their initial training starting in 1942 to the end of World War II. At the beginning of the war, they have hundreds of soldiers in Easy Company, but at the end of the war just maybe 65 people alive. And when the reporter has interviewed the survived people they only have 15 people were alive. The story has started in England, and then France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. They trained very hard and got ready for WWII. They are not gays, but they love them friends very much. They can eat together, smoke a one piece of a cigarette together, when the incoming they can use a foxhole together. Because they are in a same company, they are band of brothers. I think that this sentence can make the end of this paragraph:

        My grandson asked me the other day.

When he said,” Grandpa, were you a hero in the war?”

Grandpa said,” No, but I served in the company of heroes.”
